Wasatch showed why they have earned the top seed all season long, knocking off Hurricane 61-54 Friday night.

The Wasps had three players in double figures, led by Mckay Murdock with 19 points. Trevor Bamgartner added 17 and Mike Brown with 13.  Hurricane’s Anderson Rich popped in a season high 21 points in the loss.

Wasatch led nearly the entire game with Hurricane briefly holding the lead 26-25 early in the second half. But the athletic Wasatch team made all the plays, took advantage of many Tiger fouls and hit a truck load full of free throws, hitting 25 of 28 from the line. For more, click here
