In a must win game for both team, Hurricane finally pulled away from a pesky Cedar team 51-43 in an important Region 9 matchup Wednesday.

Tyler Hinton got the Tigers on a roll early, scoring seven first quarter points as Hurricane led 15-5 after one quarter. Cedar got into the flow tying the game at 21-21 at halftime.

The Tigers finally got their offense rolling in the final period, scoring 21 points to knock off Cedar for the second time this year.

Hinton led Hurricane with 12 points. Erik Naaken led all scorers with 15 points.
