People are going to talk and talk about Tanner Hinds and Bingham’s Harvey Langi and they should. Hinds as help lead the Darts with nearly 1,900 yards and 23 touchdowns. Langi has 24 total TD’s and 1,200 yards of rushing for the #1 team in the state.

But this game is going to be won in one area and one area only. Who wins the battle in the trenches, will be the team that takes home their second title of the decade. With powerful defensive ends Josh Kariya and sophomore Troy Hinds, Davis has every reason to think they can put the clamps on Langi and the Bingham quarterbacks on Friday @ 2:30 p.m. Davis has given up just 11 points per game this season. That is dominant.

Conversely, Bingham has the largest scoring diferential in the state, scoring nearly 40 ppg and allowing 17. They will likely stick another person or two in the box, plans to force the Darts to go to the air and put the ball in the hands of Junior QB Gavin Fowler and see if he can lead the Darts. Fowler played perhaps his best game of the year in the semi-finals with two rushing TD’s and also throwing for another.
